Every shoot was centered around characters with deep backstories. We drew inspiration from real people we knew or had learned from in market research, with the intention of making our audience feel seen and respected.

The Push Back consumer campaign was built on earlier work. Previously the focus had been on supporting patients, with assets centered on a simple iconic visual.

We portrayed empowered people holding the challenges of bipolar at bay, acknowledging their struggles while avoiding the stigmatizing visuals that were prevalent among other brands at the time.

By all the metrics, the campaign successfully moved the brand into its next stage of growth. But more than that, it helped people with bipolar 1 change perceptions of what they might be able to achieve.
